My Story

Heartland Promotions Inc. is a small, sole entrepreneur owner shop who enlists family and friends for support when needed. (That's how family businesses operate!)  Owned and operated by Karen Spruyt, this business has supported small businesses, agencies and non-profit organizations in Central Alberta for over 11 years. Before that, Karen was a professional administrator for municipal and non-profit organizations, all the time operating a small business of some sort on the side. When she is not in the office, Karen is likely visiting clients, family, friends or far away countries (with family or friends)!

Karen's business goal is to find and support a few small businesses. who want professional help with their digital business requirements.  Karen has combined all her experience and training into Heartland Promotions and has a solid understanding of what small businesses are challenged with. She is also aware of the changing roles of social media and online services and how digital printed materials and/or digital design supports that part of your business.
